Together with Professor Lord Ara Darzi, I have established the Centre for Urban Health & Healthcare (CUHH) at Imperial College London.

The CUHH brings together expertise from across Imperial and beyond to improve health and healthcare in cities. Working at the intersection of research, policy and practice, it not only generates evidence but supports its application in real world settings to deliver meaningful impact.

Developed with the support of the Mayor of London, the CUHH reflects a shared commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of Londoners. Cities provide a unique living laboratory, offering the scale, diversity, connection to communities and partnership opportunities needed to test and deliver solutions that can improve health locally and globally.
